CIBOLO CANYONS OFFICE CLOSED FRIDAY APRIL 30
If you have homeowner issues or questions, please contact our association manager, Ted Brocker at 829-7202 or [email protected]
The excitement of the Valero Texas Open (VTO) is building and we're looking forward to this great San Antonio tradition and the fantastic public exposure it will bring to our wonderful neighborhood.
We also recognize that there will be increased activity and increased access controls during the tournament (May 13 - 16). Although the majority of the traffic (including the buses) will be entering at Evans Road and avoiding the more populated areas of our community, we know there will probably be some frustrations. As a way to thank the residents of Cibolo Canyons for their support and patience during the tournament at TPC San Antonio, the VTO has graciously provided 2 tickets per household good for any one day of the golf tournament. Please look for them in your mailbox next week!
In addition, the VTO will be providing a small bus for Cibolo Canyons' residents from the Amenity Center to the Tournament. The bus will run Thursday thru Sunday from 7a.m. to 7p.m. on the ½ hour and will pick residents up at the Amenity Center driveway at TPC Parkway. There will be a security officer posted at the entrance to the Amenity Center and you will be required to show an ID to park in the Amenity Center during the tournament. You will need to have a ticket in order to access the buses and the grounds of the Valero Texas Open. Additionally, for those who would prefer to ride their bicycle to the tournament, the VTO will be providing a bike rack at the main entrance to the tournament (utilize the JW Marriott entrance closest to Evans Road). A security officer will be located there so be sure to have your ticket handy! Wednesday, May 12, is the Pro-Am, and no tickets are required for spectators.
Again, many thanks for your patience & support, We hope to see you at the Valero Texas Open!
POOL TAGS/ WAIVERS
If you haven't yet turned in your pool waiver and picked up your Pool ID tags, you may do so at the Cibolo Canyons office in the Amenity Center.
Regular Office Hours*: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-2pm
Wednesday 7am-12noon
*Please be sure and call the office first (737-1033) to ensure that someone will be available to help you - Cheri staffs the office and sometimes must go off-site to handle other homeowner business. Also, if you filled out a waiver last year and received your pools tags, the waiver and tags are still valid and nothing else is required for you to enjoy the pool facilities.
HOA ASSESSMENTS
As of April 30, 2010, if your Association assessments are not current, or payment arrangements have not been made with AMS, key fobs will be deactivated for the Amenity Center, including the pool and the Fitness Room. After April 30, a $10 reactivation fee per fob will be charged once assessments have been paid or payment arrangements made.
To inquire about the status of your account, please contact the association manager, Ted Brocker at 829-7202 or [email protected]

COP TRAINING PROGRAM
COP (Cellular On Patrol) is a program sponsored by the Bexar County Sheriff's office along with Citizens on Patrol. It is an opportunity for residents to work closely with law enforcement to make neighborhoods a safer place.
In May, there will be 2 COP Training sessions for anyone interested in the COP program. The purpose of the training program is to prepare residents to be the "eyes and ears" of the law enforcement community, and also to promote closer cooperation between residents and the agencies that serve to protect them. The training consists of 8 hours of classroom training divided into 2 four hour sessions (May 6 and May 13 6pm-10pm). There is also an opportunity for 8 hours of ride-along with an experienced district patrol officer in a patrol vehicle.
Please let us know if you are interested in participating in the COP Training Sessions.

JAG-A-THON 5K AND 10K FUN WALK AND RUN
The Jaguar Pride Association is excited to announce our 1st Annual "Jag-a-thon," a 5k/10k fun walk & run on May 22, 2010 with the support of Cibolo Canyons, a Forestar Community. This run will be a great way for our community to support all of the athletes at Johnson High School. The Jaguar Pride Association raises money in order to carry out their mission to encourage and support the broadest participation in all sports and athletic programs representing Claudia T. Johnson High School.
This event is for our community to get out and "GET FIT" with friends and family. The course is beautiful and will be fun for those who choose to walk and challenging for those who run.
Please help us make this event a success. Completed registration forms may be mailed or completed on-line. Johnson students may return the completed form to one of the coaches at Johnson High School.

We look forward to seeing you at the race. Thank you in advance for your support.

This is a wonderful opportunity to speak to a highly qualified instructor in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
